Overview of the Role

The Senior Manager – MarComms will lead the end-to-end planning, development, execution, and governance of all marketing communications for BYD in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring brand consistency, campaign excellence, and high-quality execution across all digital and offline touchpoints, in line with BYD’s positioning as a technology-led automotive brand. The role requires a hands-on manager with strong agency pedigree, capable of managing complexity, multiple stakeholders, and fast-paced campaign cycles with minimal supervision.

What you will do

Campaign Management (End-to-End)
  • Lead full-funnel campaign management from briefing, concept development, production, execution, to post-campaign evaluation
  • Own both digital and offline asset management, including:
    • ATL, BTL, OOH, print, POSM, showroom branding
    • Digital content, social assets, video, display, landing pages
  • Ensure all assets are delivered on time, on brand, and to quality standards
Brand & Creative Excellence
  • Act as brand guardian for BYD in KSA, ensuring strict adherence to global brand guidelines
  • Translate global brand and product narratives into locally relevant Saudi campaigns
  • Lead creative development with agencies, ensuring strong storytelling, clarity, and consistency
Agency & Partner Management
  • Manage and lead creative, production, and integrated agencies and even in-house teams
  • Provide clear, strategic briefs and challenge agencies to deliver best-in-class outputs
  • Review, refine, and approve creative work across all formats
  • Ensure efficient scope, timelines, and output quality
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work seamlessly with Sales, Product, CX, and wide marketing teams
  • Align MarComms plans with commercial priorities, launches, and network activations
  • Support internal stakeholders with structured communication and asset needs
Project Management & Governance
  • Own campaign timelines, asset trackers, and delivery milestones
  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal governance, approvals, and compliance standards
  • Manage multiple campaigns and workstreams simultaneously in a high-pressure environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising

Minimum Experience and Knowledge

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing or Advertising

Required Skills to be Successful

  • Automotive, FMCG, retail, premium, or technology brand experience
  • Strong understanding of Saudi market, culture, and consumer behavior
  • High standards for creative quality and executional excellence
  • Project management skills
