Senior Manager (Sustainability)

Job description / Role

Specific responsibilities include:

- Development of sustainability certification aspects of scope of works and contracts
- Reviewing design consultant proposals (both commercial and technical)
- Supporting the onboarding and engagement of design consultants
- Providing input to the design review process
- Managing compliance with NEOM Procedures, Standards, and Employer Requirements, including delivering:
- Sustainability certification pathway strategies and certification plans
- Self-scorecards and gap analyses
- Documentation and evidence demonstrating compliance
- Reporting design consultant progress against sustainability certification targets and KPIs
- Collaborating with Construction/Delivery teams to ensure effective implementation of sustainability certification strategies
- Engaging with THE LINE Proponent, NEOM, and sustainability certification bodies to develop and implement certification strategies
- Presenting to senior leadership, external partners, and stakeholders to communicate the progress of sustainability certification
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Sustainability Performance Excellence.

- Must have Middle East experience or else candidate is automatically rejected.
- Degree or higher in a relevant sustainability specialism with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Relevant Sustainability Credential (Envision Sustainability Professional (Envision SP))
- Extensive experience providing strategic-level sustainability input to complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and build consensus among stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Salary:
SAR 50000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
