• Design and implement new infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and operating systems with required applications.
• Plan and execute infrastructure and operating systems upgrades and migrations.
• Ensure that infrastructure solutions align with organizational goals and requirements.
• Manage and maintain operating systems, server, storage, and applications.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization.
• Provide technical support to end-users for infrastructure-related issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Document and share knowledge with the support team.
• Experienced in installing, managing, and maintaining server infrastructure and cloud platform and infrastructure.
• Infrastructure support often requires 24/7 coverage, so shift work may be necessary.
• On-call responsibilities: Being on call to respond to urgent infrastructure issues outside of regular working hours may be required.
• Anticipate future needs and develop a roadmap for modernization.
• Prioritize activities.
• Monitor and respond promptly to incidents.
• Optimize performance.
• Track metrics.
• Fine-tuning.
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies.
• Understanding level designs.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on solution configurations and operational procedures.

Technical Skills

• System administration experience includes but is not limited to Windows, Linux system administration, SCCM, DHCP, VMware, MS Exchange, MS Azure, DNS, 365, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle Cloud, backup administration, virtualization system, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of server administration and troubleshooting VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of cloud AWS and Azure as administrator.
• Knowledge of network protocols and network infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with server and storage technologies, such as virtualization and cloud computing, domains, Active Directory, cloud solutions, and ITSM tools.
• Knowledge of IT best practices and tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Microsoft Azure, MCSA) are preferred.
• Knowledge of databases, VM backups, Data Domain, and tape libraries.
• Solid knowledge on backup and restore skills using Veeam and Veritas.
• Client backup configuration requirements for backup agents.
• Good knowledge in administration and create reports on the reporting tools.
• Backup software integration with most used applications in the industry (e.g., backing up MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, VMware).
• Understanding of backup and recovery concepts and troubleshooting.
