700Apps is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior Oracle APEX developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will lead the development of advanced Oracle APEX applications, optimizing the process from conceptual design through to deployment. Your expertise will significantly impact our organization's ability to deliver effective and scalable solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Oracle APEX applications based on user requirements and business analysis.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of APEX applications, ensuring best practices and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather requirements and convert them into application features.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages to support application functionality.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle APEX applications and databases.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to application design and development processes.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in Oracle technologies to enhance development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Expertise in PL/SQL and experience with Oracle database administration (DBA) tasks.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Proven experience in applying Agile methodologies in software development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Oracle certifications related to APEX or database development are a plus.
