Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safe, technically accurate, and cost effective piping system designs and deliverables for refineries, chemical plants, petro-chemical plants, and oil and gas production facilities.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable specifications and standards, and completion of piping scope within project budget and schedule.
- Willing to grow to a position to lead and give direction to a small team of engineers and/or designers to prepare piping discipline deliverables and drawings.
- Responsible for the technical integrity of the discipline's work performed under his direction and for the observance of project HSE requirements relevant to his team's work scope.
- Responsible to check the piping design deliverables for its' standard compliance (vs. Client or international standards) developed by the team.
- Works with and coordinates with other discipline engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design and its intent. Participates in formal design reviews as well as 3D model reviews to meet this obligation.
- Conduct or direct site surveys and plant visits to determine constraints in the location of new equipment in existing facilities or on brownfield sites.
- Support the sr. or lead engineer with preparation of piping material specifications and support with preparation of material requisitions and technical evaluations of bidders' responses.
- Support the sr. or lead engineer with preparation of piping construction scope of work, hydro test procedure and other necessary discipline reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in Oil/Gas preferably in Piping Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written).
- Experience with Saudi Aramco Standards.
- Familiar with 3D review tools, such as Smartplant Review or Navisworks.
- Experience in plant & piping layout
- Preferably having understanding of basic pipe stress principles.
