Senior Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Planning Engineer to join our project delivery team. This role is pivotal in managing schedule development, monitoring, and control across key regional projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You will lead the preparation and integration of project schedules, track progress, and provide analytical support for risk mitigation, delay analysis, and stakeholder reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Lead planning efforts during proposal, design, and construction phases.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule integrity.
• Provide forensic planning and delay/disruption analysis when needed.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and critical path analysis.
• Evaluate third-party schedules and recommend improvements.
• Support risk analysis, cost loading, and invoice verification processes.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Primavera P6 in multi-disciplinary construction projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience with delay analysis, claim review, and dispute resolution is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Saudi Arabia.
