The role

Senior Planning Manager - Major Masterplanned Development

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing of schedule/plans.
• Managing the performing baseline schedule maintenance and control.
• Collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the programme and project teams.
• Monitoring actual performance against the schedule to identify delay, early and late completion.
• Interfacing with the project technical staff to define change to schedules and identification of variances from the original plan.
• Identify and analyse associated schedule, resource conflicts and potential cost impacts and issues.
• Monitoring of site documents.
• Keeping working schedule, communication, documentation, quantities and attachments via technical offices located in the field.
• Preparing progress payments of similar sized projects, enforcing the contractor demands by checking their conformity with the agreement, preparation of inspection reports, preparing final accounts and classification and arrangement of all documents pertaining to the project as well as monitoring project process with modern methods, updating construction costs and making results thereof into reports.
• Performing baseline schedule maintenance and control.
• Requiring to work closely with the contractors, analysing their schedules and actively manage the schedules with them to ensure a successful outcome.
• Managing and maintaining schedules on a variety of projects with project manager’s at the same time.
• Managing schedules at various phases from feasibility through to handover to client.
• Developing of scheduling reports, together with the planning and controls leads.
• Collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the programme and project teams.
• Monitoring actual performance against the schedule to identify delay, early and late completion.

• Identifying and analysing associated schedule, resource conflicts and potential cost impacts and issues.

Requirements

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

• Major project experience is preferred.
• Masterplanned, major development/project experience is essential.
• Broad project experience from a range of sectors.
• Expert user of various planning software.
• Saudi Arabian project experience is essential for client approval.
• 5 years + of post graduate experience is essential for client approval.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required.

Qualifications:

• A degree qualification is essential for is preferred.
• Professional memberships are preferred.
