Senior Procurement Specialist - Facilities Management

Aquila Consulting are working in partnership with a major Engineering Consultancy based on the iconic Alula project in KSA. Due to continued project success, they have an opening for a Snr Procurement Specialist with a strong background in Facilities Management.

Reporting to the FM Director, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• The procurement of all maintenance material requirements within facilities maintenance services.
• The collation of tender documentation and competitive quotes for maintenance materials, order & invoice processing
• Invoice and order approval
• Regular liaison with suppliers, including discrepancy resolution.
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts

Requirements

• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems within the Facilities Management sector
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred
• Minimum 10 years' experience as a procurement specialist or related position
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
