JASARA PMC is seeking an experienced and proactive senior project control engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing project control functions to ensure the timely completion and success of our projects. Your expertise in project management and control will be critical in developing and implementing effective project strategies and processes.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics

Monitor and report on project progress and performance, identifying any variances from established objectives

Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project issues

Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders

Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to project control processes

Implement best practices in project controls to optimize project outcomes

Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline

10+ years of proven experience in project control within large-scale construction projects

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including earned value management

Proficient in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)

Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Experience in leading project control strategies is a plus
