Senior Project Controls Manager - US National Due to Visa Requirements
An International Project Management Consultancy urrently looking to recruit a US National for a Project Controls Manager role on a large military project in Saudi Arabia.
The purpose of the role will be to develop and manage the project controls systems, including WBS, durations, sequencing, cost estimating, planning/scheduling, and cost tracking for projects within the company, as well as provide programming guidance and specialized assistance to projects for the resolution of complex problems.
- Assists the Project Manager to develop scope, schedule, budget and cost estimates for assigned tasks.
- Assists the project manager in the creation of Work Breakdown Structure and development of schedules and budget data for WBS elements.
- Analyses unit rates to the extent that corrective action can be taken to minimize project losses.
- Manages and analyses the project schedule with the assistance of the project scheduler (where present).
- Assembles and compiles schedule and cost data and inputs into the project control database and provides output to the project team providing overall project direction for cost and schedule control
- Provides recommendations to manage and maximize project margins.
- Supports the project team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems.
- Develops and maintains status reports including: labour productivity, schedule status, financial analysis, cost performance and earned value reports.
- Implements trend and change management programs.
Package is 50-60K SAR Per Month + Flights + Medical
Equivalent of $170-200K Per Year TAX FREE
Requirements
- Must be an American National Due to Visa restrictions
- Must hold a professional engineering qualification
- Expert ability in Primavera P6 Project Management with working ability with Primavera Project
- Planner (P3), MS Project, SureTrak and other CPM Software.
- Possess expert ability in Microsoft Excel, developing complex spreadsheets for estimating and planning engineering and construction projects.
- Possess an understanding of contract and commercial document requirements on major projects.
- Ability to coordinate with other engineering, construction, and support professionals in developing and utilizing project controls tools.
- Have an understanding of earned value analysis and tracing methods.
