Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Project Control Manager is responsible for the coordination and the efficient and effective use of all the Project Manager Team communication including but not limited to installation, maintenance and best practical use of the IT hardware and software, document control, preparation and distribution of standard reports, preparation and up-to-date maintenance of the Project Management Team procedures manual. The Project Control Manager's responsibilities includes but not limited to:
- Coordination across the Project Management team to provide coherent document controls.
- Ensuring that proper project procedures and tools are available to the Project Manager Team
- Effective implementation and management of the Electronic Project Management System (Expedition) supported by Expedition and IT Administrators.
- Document and maintain the Site Procedures Manual.
- Plan, document and maintain in association with the Project Director and the IT administrator the required IT infrastructure to support the project management team needs.
- Plan, document and maintain along with the Faithful+Gould IT central department and the IT Administrator the IT items, hardware, software and applications required to support the project needs as described in the IT plan above.
- Managing the Document Control Supervisor and the IT Administrator to ensure smooth flow of the document control process ensuring; efficient distribution of documents within the Project Management Team, proper and recordable transfer of documents between the Project Management Team, the client, contractors, consultants, and other parties and safe and proper storage of documents including hard and soft correspondence, drawing, reports, etc.

Requirements

- 15+ post graduate experience (degree holder)
- Jack of all trades – small team, so will have to turn their hand at all aspects from planning, recording progress on site, putting together project execution plan, processes and procedures, ensuring contractor is submitting correct documentation.
- Will deputise for Senior PM when off site.
