Job description / Role
Main responsibilities:
• Set a standard of efficiency, effectiveness, tech-savviness, and method of project execution.
• Defines Project, timelines, critical milestones, quality, and costs.
• Responsible for the successful implementation of projects, timelines, critical milestones, quality and costs, including the production of purchase orders.
• Support Sales during planning, quotation and variation stage.
• Clear Project with Operations and Sales.
• Accountable for all project activities and project team leadership.
• Control and reconcile commercial documents
• Deliver and maintain agreed project, technical and financial targets on budget and on time
• Maximize of project success by identifying and executing variation management
• Assure transparency of costs in projects and controls against planned budgets
• Ensure completion of projects including snagging and variations
• Ensure invoicing including all variations
• Operate internal ERP system to record, specify and confirm full Bill of Quantities
• Prepare project hand-over for the Key Account Manager
• Plan, defines and controls targets and time lines for production, procurement & installation
• Responsible for site management, logistics and coordination
• Ensure at all time Corporate Health and Safety rules are implemented
• Support Management as and when required
Reporting to: Operation Manager
Subordinates: Project Coordinator, Site Manager, Site Engineer, Subcontractors.
Other interactions: Marketing & Sales, Subcontractors, Suppliers.
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent Position
Probation: 3 - 6 Months
Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday (As per project requirement)
Travel requirements: Occasional travel to UAE
Objectives: Carry our interior Fit Out project from start to finish.
Requirements
• University Qualifications: BSc in Engineering or very relevant major.
• Other certifications obtained: PMP or similar
• Nature and length of previous experience: 5 years of very relevant Project Management position (Luxury Retail Interior Fit out)
• 10 years of less relevant Project Management Position (Construction, or budget fit out)
• Soft Skills and Personality traits: Leadership Ability, Exceptional work ethic, ability to manage and lead a group of professionals.
• Language Fluency: Eenglish, Arabic
• Current Location: UAE, Saudi Arabia
