The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:
- Real estate development
- Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products
- Precast concrete products and architectural elements

Job Purpose

The Senior QC Precast Production Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of precast concrete products throughout the production process. This role involves meticulous inspection, coordination with various departments, and proactive problem-solving to maintain high standards of production quality.

Key Accountability Areas


Drawing Management:
- Ensure that the project's shop drawings (SD) are always updated and issued for production.
- Revise SD in detail, ensure full understanding, and coordinate with the design team for any incomplete details or conflicts in the drawings.

Quality Control:
- Issue quality observations or non-conformance reports (NCR) for defective elements identified during production.
- Inspect completed works, including mold preparation, reinforcement, MEP installation, casting, surface preparation, and curing, referencing updated SD, approved materials, and project specifications.
- Issue NCRs for broken elements after demolding and before they are shifted to the stockyard.

Coordination and Inspection:
- Coordinate with production engineers to ensure the readiness of activities for internal inspection.
- Confirm that all activities are executed according to the drawings, specifications, quality plan, approved procedures, work instructions, Method of Statements (MOS), and Data Sheets (DS).
- Ensure that all materials used are approved and that their application is in accordance with their Data Sheets (DS).

Process Management:
- Confirm the casting program for the cast elements to ensure adherence to schedule and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with the QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) manager to meet additional project quality requirements.
- Work closely with the technical department to resolve design or technical issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement:
- Propose ideas and suggestions for quality improvement based on observations and industry best practices.
- Prepare and record lessons learned throughout the year to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Education:
- Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in quality control within the precast concrete industry.
- Proven experience in inspecting precast concrete products and materials.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes and quality standards (e.g., PCI, NPCA).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
