C-Quest, an allied practice of KEO, are now seeking an exceptional Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our award winning pre-contract team based within our Saudi Arabia Office.

This critical role will be responsible for taking a lead role in the procurement of assigned contract packages. This will comprise of the development and implementation of procurement strategies, the management of pre-tender activities such as expressions of interest and prequalification processes.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include:
• Measurement of works from drawings including BIM and AutoCAD measurement techniques.
• Preparing draft correspondance to Consultants, Contractors and Authorities.
• Establishing and maintaining a robust data recording system.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Preparing and agreeing monthly payment applications for all work packages and appropriate consultants payments.
• Monitoring and updating the project insurance logs to ensure their currency.
• Coordinating with the administration team on commercial aspects of the project to maintain the highest level of delivery.
• Ability to analyze project variations and changes, prepare project reports, analyze information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to assure a successful project for the Client and the firm.
• Ability to understand, identify and assess project risks.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years career experience with a Bachelor in Quantity Surveying and experience in costings in the Oman region.

Chartered status with RICS will be viewed favourably.
