Description

JASARA PMC is looking for a highly skilled senior quantity surveyor - (RC) to join our engaged team dedicated to transforming the construction landscape of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will focus on reinforced concrete (RC) projects, leveraging your expertise to oversee all quantity surveying duties while ensuring the financial and contractual integrity of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of quantity surveying for reinforced concrete projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation and management.
• Manage and mentor junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional development within the team.
• Prepare detailed bills of quantities and cost estimates for RC works, including materials and labor.
• Conduct effective contract administration and control, including valuation of work in progress, overseeing contractual claims, and managing disputes.
• Analyze project costs and performance to maintain budgetary controls and report on project financial status.
• Engage with project teams to conduct site visits and assessments, ensuring compliance with the planned scope and budget.
• Implement value engineering initiatives to optimize costs and enhance project delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of solid experience in quantity surveying, specifically in reinforced concrete projects.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, MQuantSurv) is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes related to RC structures, including specific materials and methodologies.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in using cost management software and understanding construction contracts.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight timelines.
