Job description / Role
Role Purpose:
To develop and monitor the jobs budget and to update ongoing costs of all jobs in coordination with the relevant departments. To act as the feedback loop on the actual costing of jobs to the Project Director through periodic status reports.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing bills of quantities based on design.
• Performs quantity take'-offs of assigned jobs and develops the Job Budget based on Contract documents.
• Prepare & develop rate built-up / cost break down.
• Preparation of Preliminary Cost Estimates.
• Ensure all Claims/Variations/EOTs are identified, Impact Analysis done, Invoiced and followed through for additional Revenues and Review of Timelines and Approvals sought from the Main Contractor.
• Review & Scrutinize Consultant's and sub-contractor’s miscellaneous payment certificate.
• To monitor and update the ongoing costs of all jobs in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Review and Approve Subcontractors Work and Payments based on actual Work-done through Valuation and
Measurement.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in (Civil)
• Or Bachelor's degree in (Electrical)
• Must have high rise experience
• Domain engineering knowledge for respective discipline, ability to read / scaled drawings,
• Good understanding of construction practices for relevant areas.
• MS Excel/ Auto-cad
• Through knowledge of Primavera software
• Exposure to quantity take off software shall be added advantage
• Knowledge of English Language
