Industrial complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job purpose

To ensure smooth site operations by supporting project execution, monitoring progress, and maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards.

Key accountability areas

Site operations

• Perform daily site monitoring activities to ensure alignment with project schedules, design intent, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards during all site activities.
• Verify the availability, readiness, and proper utilization of materials, equipment, and manpower resources.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to support effective execution of work.

Coordination and communication

• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and external stakeholders to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and technical concerns to the project team.
• Support collaboration between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to maintain smooth project execution.

Progress monitoring

• Monitor site progress against project baselines and identify potential delays or challenges.
• Recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedules and performance targets.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of daily site activities and progress.

Technical support

• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work plans to support construction activities.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to site personnel when required.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving operational or technical issues.

Documentation and reporting

• Prepare and maintain site documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, and daily logs.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with project and audit requirements.
• Contribute to progress summaries and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Role accountability

HR proficiency:
Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:
Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-solving:
Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:
Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business process improvements:
Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, safety, and environment:
Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic qualification

Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or any relevant field

Work experience

4 to 6 years
