Senior Structural Designer

Specific Accountabilities:
- Draw and interpret sketch.
- Interpret technical drawing.
- Prepare basic engineering drawing.
- Basic engineering detail drafting.
- Advanced engineering detail drafting and checking.
- Advanced structural detail drafting.
- Create 2D drawings using computer aided design system.
- Create 3D drawings using computer aided design system.
- Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks, achieving a good balance between design costs and implementation costs.
- Work within budget constraints set by Asset Team Leader/ Lead Discipline Engineer

Qualifications:
- Must have experience in offshore structural design
- Proficiency in the use of general computer softwares such as MS Office etc.
- Proficiency in using Microstation softwares
- Proficiency in PDS is preferred but not essential, S3D is a must.
- Must be well versed with Offshore industry related guidelines, codes and regulations such as API-RP-2A, API-RP-2L, DNV rules, offshore material specifications as per BS, ASTM & Euro etc

Minimum Education
- Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering
