Senior Structural Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh and NEOM, Saudi Arabia. Structural engineering, capable of overseeing complex engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct detailed structural assessments and feasibility studies to inform project development and execution.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate structural designs with overall project objectives.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for structural designs and assessments.
• Utilize advanced software tools and technologies for structural modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Participate in project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met.
• Stay abreast of new developments in structural engineering, codes, and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.

• Bachelor’s degree or more in Civil Engineering, or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in the field of Structural engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of engineering systems, technologies, principles, codes and practices.
• Ability to identify problems and develop innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, Detail-oriented, and organized.
• Proficient with relevant software programs.
• Willingness to relocate, if required.
• Must have a Valid SCE Membership
• Must have a Valid and Transferable Iqama (if non-Saudi)
