Senior Structural Engineer

Job description / Role

Role:

Currently we are looking for a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer who leads the supervision of structural and civil works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and construction schedules. The role includes resolving site technical issues, coordinating with consultants, and providing guidance to junior engineers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all civil and structural construction activities.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate structural works including foundations, concrete, steel, and finishing works.
• Resolve technical issues and provide site engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure works comply with QA/QC and safety standards.
• Monitor productivity and optimize construction methodologies.
• Support inspections, testing, and approvals.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and site staff.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8–15 years experience in construction supervision projects.
• Strong background in residential, mixed-use, and high-rise structures.
• Solid knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and finishing systems.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
