Job Description
- Manage Oracle Database Administration tasks, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Support the deployment and management of Customs systems, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with business support teams to resolve issues and enhance system performance.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical problems, providing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
- Coordinate and manage deployments of new systems and updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
- Mentor and train junior support engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of various systems.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices related to Routing & Switching, Oracle DBA, and Customs systems.
Requirements:
Personal Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical support roles, with a focus on Oracle DBA and Customs deployment.
- Proven experience in managing complex technical environments and delivering exceptional support.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security management.
- Experience with Customs systems deployment and support, understanding regulatory requirements and business processes.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA).
- Experience with Customs systems and deployment processes.
- Network security protocols and best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Oracle DBA, or similar.
