Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Sustainability Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia . This position is responsible for supporting design teams to improve their sustainability performance by advising and collating/assessing running projects.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include

- Delivering LEED, Mostadam & WELL Green Certifications.
- Supporting sustainability delivery team in the Kingdom for the sustainability delivery of the projects.
- Ensuring existing quality control, quality assurance, submittal protocols, and document flow procedures are followed and successfully implemented.
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and client teams.
- Managing and facilitating delivery efforts to client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction during and after the delivery of a scope of work and deliverables, making any requested alterations in an established timeframe.

Job Specific Competencies

- Have proven experience in delivering projects for at least 3 years with high sustainability certification ratings.
- 6 to 7 years of experience with at least 4 years in the certification of assets
- Preference for candidates who have both building and masterplans certifications experience.
- Very good at writing reports and explaining concepts and compliance requirements to a non-sustainability-related audience
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Projects such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Project.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and online tools.
- Good personality and is a team player.
- The ability to work independently is essential.
- Individuals who are already in Riyadh will be considered with a preference.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 6 years of experience with at least 4 years in the certification of assets partnered with a BSc/BEng/BTech in Architecture, Sustainability or any other relevant subject.
- LEED AP is highly beneficial and preference will be given to candidates with a MOSTADAM AP. Other Green Certifications, Accreditations and GRI will be considered positively.
- Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic whilst not essential, are beneficial and interest from Saudi Nationals will be warmly received.
