Job description / Role
NOTE: Saudi Nationals are first preference
Job Description:
• Health checking of NE two times during the day (9:00 AM, 4:00 PM) and put the report in the server two times. NE disconnection reporting and troubleshooting through N2000
• Finding the current alarms of each NE (BSC, MGW, STP, Backbone STM1)
• Checking the alarms with reports
• Find out missing alarms
• Find out all monitoring tools problem and inform FO manager
• Find out pending TT and follow with BO and close them and update related file in the server at the end of the day
• Send the open TT list weekly to shift manager and FO manager on Sunday
• Network monitoring and issue necessary work instructions to reduce the risk and fault cycle time
• Updating topology and sending the on Air list to FO engineers daily (update dash port page of daily report) and update related file in the server in the end of day
• Preparing the SLA,MTTR report weekly on Saturday
• Updating fault management report every day and update related file in the server at the end of the day and send it weekly to day shift manager on Tuesday
• On time and correctly check and reply to related email’s and SMS
• Team member Trained up and evaluation of FO engineer
• Process understanding of FO engineer
• Quality of handover correctly
• Find out all monitoring tools problem and inform FO manager
• Find out pending TT and follow with BO and close them and update related file in the server in the end of the day
• Send the open TT list weekly to shift manager and FO manager on Sunday
• Responsible for checking the result of CR and close the related TT inform SOA about re homing activity and inform CR team about CR state
• Studying and identifying the knowledge gaps in O&M DNOC team related to MSAN, DSLAM & RUN ADSL systems and conduct necessary On-job training (OJT) to increase knowledge level.
• Updating the roster and responsible for shift changing of FO engineers and FO engineers contact info. The server’s file should be updated in daily basis.
• Collect the time sheet and check the quality and send to day shift manager
• Inform Shift managers about important issue
• Checking related emails (personal and group email)
• Review the performance of DSLAM, MSAN, RAN ADSL, issue necessary technical investigation reports to improve the performance
Requirements
• NOTE: Saudi Nationals are first preference
Experience:
• At least 3 years related work experience in telecom network operation and maintenance
• At least 1 year Huawei MSAN DSLAM RAN engineering experience, include installation and integration experience
• Familiar with MA5600, UA5000, MA5100/MA5103
• Familiar with Internet protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, Routing protocols, 802.1Q etc.)
• Familiar with Data network; VoIP H.248; TDM V5; Frame relay and ATM
• Designing, managing and troubleshooting fault in MSAN, DSLAM & RAN ADSL systems
• Familiar with office standard packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Familiar with GSM and 3G
Education:
• 3/4 year university degree in Telecom or Computer Science
Other Requirements:
• Ability to work off hours depending on Network outages and customer requests
• 24x7 availability to support after office hours, and be able to relocate within the country
• Very good communication skill, Oral and write English
• Experience with operator O&M department or other MS organizations is a plus
