We are currently looking for a senior traffic engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure and stormwater project in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in traffic engineering, with a strong background in traffic impact assessments, modeling, and planning within large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and review of traffic impact studies, transport assessments, and traffic management plans.
• Support the design and planning of road networks and stormwater infrastructure with traffic engineering inputs.
• Use traffic modeling tools (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM, SIDRA) to analyze and optimize traffic flow and intersection performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including roadway, drainage, and urban planning engineers.
• Ensure compliance with local and international traffic engineering standards and guidelines.
• Review contractor submissions, design drawings, and specifications related to traffic and transport.
• Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and site inspections as required.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or transportation engineering (master's preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering within large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi traffic regulations, urban mobility principles, and traffic safety standards.
• Proficient in traffic simulation and modeling software (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM, SIDRA, HCS).
• Previous experience in stormwater-related infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Experience working with international engineering consultancies is preferred.
• Valid membership in a recognized engineering council; SCE registration preferred.
