Senior Urban Designer/Planner

Job description / Role

Client is a leading multi disciplinary engineering consultancy with offices in Saudi Arabia and Jordan and who posses and excellent track record and reputation in the market place. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Urban Designer to be based in their Riyadh office.

The role will include the following:
- Master planning
- Work with the project manager to produce reports, drawings, presentations, and other documents to meet client deadlines as outlined by the PM.
- Assist in the preparation of conceptual and schematic design plans and report as required by the PM.
- Preparation of documentation and presentation packages for projects.
- Lead and manage technical projects and multi-disciplinary teams to successful conclusion/outcomes on projects.
- Liaising with other disciplines professionals; architects, landscape architects, MEP and civil engineers, to ensure technical deliverability of projects
- Liaise with clients in accordance with the project requirements and as agreed by the PM

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in Urban Planning or architecture and must be able to demonstrate at least 15 years experience of urban design and urban planning.

Candidates should posses excellent design, visualisation and graphic skills and should be familiar with software including Microsoft suit, AutoCAD, Sketch up, Adobe photoshop, illustrator and InDesign.
