Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:

This position in charge of providing financial leadership for growing the GE Healthcare Services profitably in Saudi as well as leading Productivity initiatives. He/She will also be responsible for maximize cash collection and reducing past dues for the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Right arm for Services GMs for short and long-term strategies; play a key role to grow the businesses profitably.
- Provide financial support and leadership on Variable Cost Productivity projects.
- Help the HQ Finance teams do forecasts/estimates by providing information about business trends, unusual etc.
- Play an active role with business partnering to realize opportunities and mitigate risks; primary owner of the month-end closing process.
- Partner with finance teams to analyze, report operating performance via development and implementation of focused growth & profitability metrics.
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to credit policy and agreements with customers. Take tough decisions on stopping service wherever required based on credit issues
- Drive finance controls & processes to ensure service billing quality
- Partner with Cash team to minimize Service Past Due Receivables and DSO. Liaison on payment related issued with customers where needed and guide cash team on account reconciliation with customers.
- Ensure the highest levels of controllership and compliance. Complete ownership on accuracy of service balance sheet including inventory, accounts payable and receivables
- Support finance simplification or process improvement projects including implementation and optimization of various shared service functions including cash and accounting.
- Provide Ad hoc analysis for the requests from Finance/Commercial teams.
- Work in close coordination with Commercial MFs for large deals that include multi-year Service; to provide business insight as well as to ensure alignment with business strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Graduate BA/BSc or MBA in finance with 7 + years of progressive accounting & finance experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership
- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
- Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas
- Demonstrated experience in setting up/working in shared service environment
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects & to meet strict deadlines
- Fluent English speaking & reading
- Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values

Desired Characteristics:

- Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
- Experience leading in a matrixed environment
- Experience with leading a cross functional team in a complex business organization.
- Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
- Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP), CAS or external audit experience or graduate of other financial leadership programs
