Services Manager

Job description / Role

• Identify, lead, and direct service team and resources.
• Plan and control all aspects of a project commissioning services such as scope, schedule, and budget using project management tools and planning.
• Develop and manage client relationships.
• Maintain warranty services after project and insure client receiving right services.
• Manage Retrofit jobs and Annual maintenance contracts.
• Communicate with SEL Management and the project team
• Responsible for environmental, health and safety leadership, maintaining a safe workplace, safety awareness and training, accident investigations and reporting, and implementing safe and environmentally sound work practice
• Develop and maintain technical expertise in electric power system protection and a working level of technical expertise in electric power system automation. Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL equipment and solutions to electric power system protection and automation.
• Manage customer training and manage a team to assist customers with the installation, commissioning, and operation of protection systems, both on-site and from SEL offices.
• Manage a team who will support customers apply SEL products through visits, demonstrations, training courses, and telephone contact.
• Ensure work is completed within agreed upon schedule and budget to a high level of quality.
• Ensure team provides support for other SEL marketing, sales, application engineering, and development activities.
• Plan and control all aspects of a project site services such as Commissioning, SAT, and warranty.
• Understand, create, and simplify processes.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Arabic speaking
• B.S. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of automation or/and protection and control systems with a broad range of serial and network devices and interfaces
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project or account management
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong coordination skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
