Sewage Treatment Plant Engineer (Saudi ational or urrent KSA Resident)

Job description / Role

My client, an international Project Management company in Riyadh, currently has an opening for a qualified Sewage Treatment Plant Engineer to work on one of their major mixed-use building and infrastructure construction projects in the Kingdom.

This position has been identified for a Saudi National or an expat who is currently resident in the Kingdom with a transferable Iqama.

The position will work within their Project Management team to manage sewage treatment facility design and construction projects. The project manager will work closely with consulting engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate the design, permitting, and construction of new facilities.

Duties include

• Sewage treatment plant facilities planning,
• Design of sewage treatment plants,
• Construction management and oversight of a wide variety of utility projects,
• Coordination with various engineering consultants, agencies and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil or Chemical etc)
• 10 years of experience in a similar area of assigned engineering responsibility.
• Good organizational and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to solicit input and support of others at various levels in an organization.
• Sewage treatment plant design and construction experience.
• Experience developing construction specifications, scope of work, and estimates for water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• Review/Interpret Engineering Drawings, Specifications, and other design documents.
• Experience and knowledge of construction methods and activities.
• Project management experience related to sewage treatment facilities.
• Experience managing contractors and enforcing project specifications.
