Site Architect

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Architect to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. As a Site Architect, you will play a critical role in the design and execution of architectural projects, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to bring innovative architectural solutions to life while adhering to project timelines and budgets. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within a leading engineering consulting firm, contributing to the architectural landscape of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare detailed architectural designs, plans, and specifications for various projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, evaluate site conditions, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and other technical documents.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on architectural solutions.
- Participate in project meetings, presenting design concepts and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Implement sustainable building practices and promote environmentally friendly design solutions.
- Supervise and mentor junior architects and design staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance project outcomes.

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in site Architect, preferably in the engineering consulting industry.
- Hospitality projects experience is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines..
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
