Employment: Full Time

The Site Engineer/Manager with extensive experience in interior fit-out projects to manage and execute turnkey medium-scale commercial projects such as corporate offices, banks, industrial facilities, hotels, cafes, restaurants, spas, and retail shops, including complete MEP works with coordination. The ideal candidate should be able to lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Site Engineer/Manager with extensive experience in interior fit-out projects to manage and execute turnkey medium-scale commercial projects such as corporate offices, banks, industrial facilities, hotels, cafes, restaurants, spas, and retail shops, including complete MEP works with coordination. The ideal candidate should be able to lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

Project Execution and Supervision:
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed as per the project plan, drawings, and specifications.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality, design, and safety standards.
• Plan and organize site activities to meet project deadlines and milestones.

Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of site activities, including progress reports, daily logs, and site conditions.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly site progress reports to management.
• Document and report any delays, changes, or issues affecting the project timeline or budget.
• Responsible for obtaining approvals on progress, submittals, and any required documents from clients, consultants, or relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

Client and Stakeholder Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and provide progress updates to the project management team.
• Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

Resource Management:
• Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity.
• Monitor material deliveries and stock levels, ensuring minimal wastage.
• Approve work schedules and allocate tasks to team members effectively.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure that all work meets the company’s quality standards and client specifications.
• Review and approve materials, finishes, and fit-out installations to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Address any discrepancies in design or construction promptly with the relevant stakeholders.
• Assess and implement installation methods and material applications, ensuring best practices.

Safety and Risk Management:
• Ensure the site complies with health and safety regulations and company policies through proper coordination with the HSE department.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.
• Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management within the design and fit-out for commercial projects in the GCC area.
• Proven experience in managing commercial or retail fit-out projects.

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, fit-out processes, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, coordination, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, consultants, and teams.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and risk management practices.

Physical/Technical Requirements
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Familiarity with CAD software and reading architectural and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of quality assurance and control processes.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the QMS and Saudi labor laws
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Able to drive and travel when there is a requirement present
• Possess good organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Resourceful and diligent in seeking solutions to problems and adapting to new situations
