Software Quality Lead

Job description / Role

• Advise on the program devops strategy in general with focus on testing strategy and processes
• Review testing deliverables from vendor:

- Testing plans for each release
- Testing execution progress reports and final reports
- Testing environment and data plan

• Highlight and support the mitigation of risks related to solution quality throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Plan and lead user accepting testing activities including:

- Testing plan definition including scope, timelines and resources
- Ensuring all resources including testers and necessary environment are in place
- Working with testers to ensure all test scenarios are created with correct coverage
- Assignment of testing activities to test team and tracking progress
- Reporting on testing execution progress and defect statistics
- Issuing UAT closure reports

• Secure and facilitate for additional focused testing execution activities such as penetration testing and usability testing

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant discipline or experience required
• 8 years of experience required
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Arabic and English (written, reading and spoken)
• Willing to work hours as needed to meet client deadlines and firm needs.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to conduct research
• Full mobility travel
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate industry and business concepts to diverse audiences and present to C-Level executives
