Solutions Architect

Job description / Role

Westlakes Recruit is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to support the delivery of a cutting-edge Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5I) technologies project in Riyadh.

This role is ideal for a professional with at least 10 years’ experience in enterprise-level IT environments. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure technology systems tailored to the specific needs of the project and aligned with the Ministry of National Guard’s (MNG) strategic goals.

Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll assess existing infrastructure, recommend innovative technical solutions, oversee system integrations, and ensure long-term adaptability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and implementation of end-to-end solution and technical designs.
• Ensure adherence to the solution/design process throughout all project phases.
• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) input across technical and solution domains.
• Identify, communicate, and manage Information Assurance (IA) risks.
• Detect and address security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures.
• Recommend enhancements to improve security and performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
• Project management experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
