Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role holder is responsible for leading the identification of the booking platforms to be used by the Airlines Department, maintaining relationships with the vendors to procure the desired booking platforms and after sales service including troubleshooting to ensure prompt issue resolution and promote business continuity.

The role holder is also monitoring the day to day operations of the various booking platforms including overseeing access control and licensing issues

Description

Booking System Administration

* Identify the Booking platform to be licensed based on the defined business requirements, functionality and the system integration capabilities.
* Determines booking platform requirements based on number of end - users, application functionality etc. and liaises with Director - Airlines to finalize the same.
* Leads maintenance of the booking systems including access controls and licensing to ensure adherence to established internal guidelines.
* Manages the updating of data on the booking systems based on deals procured by the Airline Division.
* Manages and guides all operations pertaining to booking systems to ensure provision of requisite support to Airline Division.
* Ensures the integrity of the data in the booking systems based on the contracts.
* Leads co-ordination with vendors to analyse and identify opportunities to improve efficiency in operations and quality of service.

Booking System Performance Management

* Ensures daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the booking systems to address any requirements pertaining to installation and configuration of patches and upgrades as required.
* Develops plans in conjunction with key stakeholders from IT Division to ensure all requisite maintenance activities on booking systems are carried out in an effective manner.
* Leads the implementation of all changes (software upgrades, patches etc.) pertaining to booking systems to ensure minimize disruption and promote business continuity.

Vendor Management

* Analyses various GDS to measure its productivity.
* Identifies trends and performs share shift management in order to achieve desired productivity levels by GDS.
* Manages the end-to-end process of vendor management to ensure that delivery of services is in line with established SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and quality guidelines.

Operations Management

* Identify the GDS platform to be licensed by ATG Group based on the defined business requirements, functionality and the system integration capabilities.
* Determines GDS platform requirements based on number of end - users, application functionality etc. and liaises with Business Units to finalize the same.
* Leads the maintenance of the GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) including access controls and licensing to ensure adherence to established internal guidelines.
* Manages the updating of data on the GDS based on deals procured by the Head - Airline / Accommodation / Other Services (airlines, hotels, products etc.)
* Manages and guides all operations pertaining to GDS to ensure provision of requisite support to Business Units.
* Ensures the integrity of the data in the GDS systems based on the contracts.
* Leads co-ordination with vendors to analyse and identify opportunities to improve efficiency in operations and quality of service.

People Management Responsibilities

* Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensure effective implementation of the ATG performance management process.
* Manages the team members by evaluating their performance, providing feedback on an on-going basis, identifying development needs and coaching them to ensure capability development.

Job Offer

* The salary provided is 15,000 SAR - 18,000 SAR max

Requirements

The successful candidate for the Manager position will have the following:

* Prior experience in booking system is preferred, especially in a preferably in a large travel services organization
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
* Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred
* Relevant certifications in booking systems like Global Distribution Systems Fares and Ticketing Course - AMADEUS is preferred
* A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a similar role
* Fluent written and spoken English essential
* Basic written and spoken Arabic preferred
