Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the formulation of the company HR strategy
• Ensure alignment of Staffing and Recruitment Section’s efforts in implementing the company HR strategy
• Monitor the development and implementation of the Staffing and Recruitment Section’s policies, procedures, and processes
• Monitor performance of the Staffing and Recruitment Section against KPIs and objectives on a regular basis. Recommend improvements and efficiencies in line with the company corporate priorities
• Develop and monitor the annual budget of the Staffing and Recruitment Section in collaboration with Finance
• Develop a yearly plan for Recruitment in line with the strategic and business plan for HR and the company
• Develop a sourcing approach for the company in line with it’s workforce planning and develop guidelines to be implemented across functions and airports / SBUs
• Oversee the development and implementation of good practice policies, tools, and methods to support the recruitment, selection, retention and Saudisation at the company to meet changing business priorities and increasing workloads
• Develop and maintain recruitment plans and tools for the company, working with the company leadership to assess staffing needs on a periodic basis
• Assure and encourage the utilisation of recruitment good practices (assessment centres, advertising, search and headhunting) to attract or identify suitable candidates and to build the company database
• Define and develop the company employee value proposition in alignment with the company corporate strategy
• Lead the development and oversight of a Saudisation plan which includes Saudisation targets and looks into which positions need to be filled by Saudi Nationals; and ensure its alignment with the overall the company strategy and compliance with Saudi Labour Law
• Lead the exercises concerned with creating and managing vacancies, screening resumes, and interviewing and selecting the candidates that fit the company requirements
• Oversee inquiries related to job recruitment initiatives and respond to queries concerning job openings as well as the selection process
• Own and maintain the company database related to recruiting activities
• Oversee the collaboration with HR Planning to identify critical positions and determine current and future talent needs based on workforce plans
• Establish effective networks both internally (e.g. referral programmes) and externally (e.g. agencies, graduate programmes, job fairs) to support sourcing approach
• Negotiate, issue, and maintain employment contracts and job offers; and ensure that candidate pre-employment due diligence activities and background checks are conducted effectively
• Lead the development of Onboarding and induction programmes, and ensure that they are being effectively maintained and communicated
• Oversee the preparation of job offers and/or rejection letters and engage with candidates in a timely manner
• Oversee recruitment formalities for local and overseas new hires (e.g. coordinating with HR Operations for work permits if applicable)
• Review and analyse turnover data and demographics across functions and stations and prepare recruitment reports and statistics on a periodic basis

Requirements

Qualification & Experience:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• MBA or Master's in a relevant field is a plus
• A certification in Human Resources Management from an accredited institution (e.g. SHRM, CIPD)
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role
• Good Communication Skills
• Fluency in English & Arabic
• Saudi Nationals
