Summary

Stewarding - Hyatt International, Miraval The Red Sea
Location: The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia
Department: Culinary / Stewarding
Reports to: Hygiene and Stewarding Manager

Role overview

We are looking for a stewarding team member to be part of the stewarding team, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and smooth operations in all kitchen and back-of-house areas. This role is crucial in maintaining hygiene standards and supporting the culinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces are clean and sanitized.
• To be part of the stewarding team to uphold high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Maintain organization and proper storage of all cleaning materials and chemicals.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to support smooth service operations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and stewarding equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort (one year).
• Willing to accommodate all tasks.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP certification is a plus).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, substantially all of the hospitality assets owned by Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity, now Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
