Job description / Role

Job Purpose

To manage and oversee the operations of the store, ensuring effective inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Accountability Areas

Inventory Management and Control:
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of store transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, stock movements, and other relevant store activities.

Order Management and Procurement:
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to order and restock materials as needed.
- Ensure timely receipt and proper storage of materials.

Team Supervision and Training:
- Supervise store staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
- Train new staff and ensure the team is updated on best practices in store management.

Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures within the store.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Role Accountability

Responsibility:
- Take full responsibility for the operation and management of the store, ensuring optimal efficiency and compliance.

Delivery:
- Deliver effective store management, ensuring timely availability of materials and accurate inventory control.

Organizational Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store operations and team performance. Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in the store, complying with all safety regulations.
