Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for establishing and building executive level relationships and leveraging them in driving new profitable sales opportunities. The strategic account manager will work on strategic opportunities across the kingdom.

- To focus on large initiatives that helps capture market share and supports the Growth in Saudi Arabia
- To establish relationships with the Key decision makers and Key Opinion Leaders at the C level within Saudi
- To gather intelligence and be knowledgeable of the existing contracts in the market and the upcoming tender opportunities
- To promote the Operating Type Lease business model and customize business solutions, reagent deals, Operating Type Lease, Guaranteed Price Per Reportable Result for the accounts
- Establish and build deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders and competitive situation
- Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers
- Work closely with the General Manager and sales manager into closing large tenders or Direct purchase
opportunities
- Work closely with the Key Account Manager of the Ministry of Health and the Medical supplies to leverage quantities on existing Total Laboratory Automation and newly installed ones
- Work closely with the General Manager on strategic opportunities to initiate those thru the entity
- Work with team on specific projects i.e. the Diagnostics Chemistry replacement plan
- Establish robust relationships with the Channel Partners and encourage our Channel Partners to sustain investment in hardware to be able to expand the market in both direct and indirect model
- Ensure customer satisfaction at large existing accounts to capitalize on existing product lines and expand into new platforms
- Assist General Manager in the Country in crafting and executing the needed sales strategy to support growth

Requirements

- B. Sc. Degree in Medical field
- Previous experience in a similar role, or in a business development role,
- Experience in a Lab environment preferred.
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Knowledge of the Saudi market
- Strong business acumen and attention to details
- Good understanding of the financials of each opportunity
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
