Due to the success of the Strategic Planning Team with a number of recent project awards, WSP is hiring for a Manager (Infrastructure & Mobility) within a growing team. The position is based in Riyadh and will be part of a dedicated team supporting WSP's Client on local and regional planning projects.

The Manager (Infrastructure & Mobility) will support an array of multi-disciplinary projects, including planning, designing, and engineering. The preferred candidate will have experience in local and regional development projects, with a strong background in master planning.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Technical advisory on large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects (local and regional planning).
* Technical advisory on both local and regional mobility strategies, in addition to demand forecasting.
* Work with Land Economists to identify optimal infrastructure and transport strategies that are economically sensitive.
* Work with Environmental specialists to identify infrastructure impacts and form mitigation measures.
* Apply a strong understanding of local KSA codes and international standards.
* Monitor and ensure the work is compliant with local standards and regulations.
* Conduct SWOT analysis of existing and future planned developments and support in the development of regional and local development roadmaps.
* Engage local authorities and key project stakeholders and lead Infrastructure and Transport focused discussions.
* Confer with local authorities, key project stakeholders, and land planning/development specialists to devise and recommend on technical impacts of land and physical facilities for logistics and industrial cluster developments.
* Develop technical inputs to support the delivery of high-quality plans, reports, and presentations.
* Support in project design and develop project budgets.
* Report on project performance and highlight issues to project lead in a timely manner.
* Provide inputs to tender documents and evaluation.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is developed within the team.
* Assist in developing a highly motivated and performing team creating opportunities for the development of individuals.
* Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients.

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Sc. or M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
* A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a similar role / project.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical writing and communications skills.
* Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Info Works, VISSUM experience is desirable.
* Development strategy and tactical advice related to development planning, utilizing development fronts, and clustering.
