Support the Head of Sectors and Markets Insights and Senior Strategists in in the review of specific sectors by analysing economic and financial data and information, and contributing to the development of sector-specific forecasts.

Description

• Support Head of Sectors and Markets Insight and Senior Strategists in the review of specific sector(s).
• Support the analysis of economic and financial data and information to develop sector-specific forecasts.
• Contribute to building a network of global experts in specific sectors/themes and regularly engage with them to understand and contribute to latest thinking on trends and future expectations.
• Support the maintenance of coverage of global reports on specific sectors/themes and be ready to respond to latest news and developments on them.
• Support the Head of Sectors and Markets Insight and Senior Strategists in formulating an independent perspective on specific sector(s) and/or investment theme(s)
• Support the development of periodic reports and brief analysis on key sectors/ sub-sectors / themes to support investment teams and investment decision-making, including relevant sensitivities.
• Support the development & ongoing monitoring of portfolio level investment strategy for specific sectors and/or investments.
• Support thought leadership contribution to broader government economic development objectives

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications: Msc Degree
• Preferred Major: Finance
• Preferred Field: Investments, Portfolio Management
• Minimum Total Years of Experience: 2+
• Languages Required: English, Arabic (preferred)
• Looking for candidates coming from Big4 Consulting / Top Tier Strategy House, preference will be given to candidates exposed to Financial Services within consulting.
