To lead the formulation, updating, and progress reporting of organisations-wide strategic initiatives and Plans, along with it's component programs, by provision of requisite information and analysis.

Description

• Strategy Office Director - Development - Riyadh, KSA
• Establishes an institutional practice to strategic planning in using an internationally accepted methodology.
• Develops a Strategic Planning business cycle (typically coinciding with the financial budget cycle) and guides Executive Management to understand the cycle, its activities and the actual planning form.
• Periodically monitors and reports on achievement of strategic plan by the to the Top Management and the Board of Directors.
• Initiates organisation-wide change programs in collaboration with the respective business / support lines
• Studies new or amended legislation and / or Government driven initiatives to their relevance and impact on strategies and keep Top Management, business lines, support lines duly informed as required.
• Tracks macro level performance indicators of entities and informs Top Management on abnormal variances.
• Ensures integrated planning and management of plans and strategic direction.
• Builds committed ownership and understanding about the value and importance of the Corporate Plan and the Business Plan and support the development of performance management.
• Ensures that future demands are anticipated and planned for where possible.
• Ensures the continuous improvement of processes and operating standards for the department.
• Ensures strategic and operational policy advice and guidance is provided to Top Management.
• Ensures resource management activities and responsibilities are effectively managed and give effect to the organisation's strategies, the law and best practice.
• Keeps the CEO informed about the operational results and profitability including any major developments.
• Plays a key role in the evaluation and selection of external resources for major consulting assignments to the Group.
• Undertakes and organises focused industry and market research for the achievement of the Strategic Objectives.
• Plays the role of the 'Owner' of the Quarter Review Board Committee effectively.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or is preferred.
• Around 10-15 years of senior managerial experience, of which at least 2-3 years in a corporate or organisational planning.
• An understanding of the principles of integrated planning and management.
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Planning & organising skills.
• Data gathering and analysis
