Job description / Role
Supply Chain & Logistics Manager Jeddah, KSA
In this exciting role you will be accountable for managing all end to end supply chain activities for this leading manufacturing business with over 120,000 employees employed in 150 countries. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Operations Director and will have a proven track record of expertise in demand and inventory planning, production planning, managing inbound/outbound supply chain, logistics as well as warehouse operations.
The position;
• Ensure that the Logistics functions comply with QMS.
• Responsible for managing a team of 27 people, through 5 direct reports.
• Ensure robust production and materials scheduling at site in order to keep the continuity of supplies for the patients and consumers and to ensure that the products are not out of stock.
• Ensure that the inventory is kept at an optimum level as per the Site’s Stock Policy in order to meet the company’s working capital targets and deploy lean manufacturing techniques.
• Responsible for ensuring the site warehouses in compliance with the Regulatory commitments GMP & EHS.
• Coordinating the customer demand in an efficient and effective manner with the site functions as well as with the Contract Manufacturers to meet the customer’s expectations and all business objectives.
• Responsible for timely clearance of consignments from customs.
• Ensure full support of the Logistics department in all cross functional projects and initiatives.
• Play an integral role in the end to end supply chain by maintaining a close liaison with the Supply and Demand Satellite and Distribution warehouses.
• Ensure that a robust Risk Management Process is in place and in use within the Logistics function.
Requirements
• You have managed Production Planning.
• You have worked for a manufacturing business within FMCG, Food, Pharmaceuticals, or other high volume industry.
• You have managed an end to end supply chain & logistics function.
