Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The position of Supply chain Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all facets of a comprehensive supply chain program. This includes negotiating and contracting for the supply chain of materials, supplies, services, and equipment, receiving, storing, and distributing of supplies for the hospital.

Manage Process & Resources
• Ensures that the end to end supply chain process is managed according to Hospital standards
• Develop policies and procedures in the areas of the supply chain, inventory control, receiving, storage and distribution, of supplies throughout the hospital
• Provides daily supervision for materials and supply chain distribution functions for the hospital in the areas on inventory management, quality assurance and value improvement
• Plans coordinates and administers the operational financial administrative and technical operations of material management
• Responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring measures are in place for optimum operations
• Ensure periodic audits such as cycle counts, bill reviews are performed on time and in line with management expectations
• Building and maintaining quality processes within the stores.
• Implement Group standardization processes in the Hospital
• Ensure that stock levels are monitored and manage the distribution process of consumables in the Hospital
• Manage all annual and interim stock takes of consumable products in the Hospital
• Ensure periodic audits such as cycle counts, bill reviews are performed on time and in line with management expectations


• Degree from an accredited university with specialization in Supply chain management or others
• Minimum 3-5 years of in clinical health care setting
• Should be fluent in English and Arabic
• Supervises, mentors, and manages the performance of team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and fiscal responsibility
• Create and submit reports as required e.g. month end report, operational and financial reports, cost management reports
