Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar's industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar's facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose

Optimize material planning processes to ensure efficient inventory management, timely procurement, and alignment with production needs. Lead initiatives to minimize excess stock, oversee phase-in/phase-out processes, and continually enhance performance through strategic planning and process improvements.

Key Accountability Areas

Demand Forecasting and Planning:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical tools.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate market insights and promotional plans.

Inventory Management:
- Optimize inventory levels to balance between supply and demand, ensuring minimal stockouts and excess inventory.
- Implement inventory control strategies and monitor key metrics such as inventory turnover and carrying costs.

Supply Chain Optimization:
- Analyze and design efficient supply chain processes to improve overall performance and reduce costs.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend corrective actions.

Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop production schedules that align with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes.

Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.

Role Accountability

- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job

Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:
- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Requirements:

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience
- 2 to 5 Years

Technical / Functional Competencies
- Materials Flow Analysis
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP/MRPII)
