Sustainability Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sustainability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading sustainability initiatives within our construction projects, ensuring adherence to environmental standards and promoting sustainable practices that mitigate ecological impact. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a commitment to sustainability, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions in construction.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct sustainability assessments and analyses for construction projects.
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to integrate sustainable best practices into project design and execution.
- Prepare and present sustainability reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Research emerging trends and technologies in sustainability and recommend their application in construction processes.
- Conduct training and workshops for staff to promote awareness of sustainability practices.
- Monitor compliance with sustainability regulations and standards throughout project life cycles.

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Sustainability, or a related Engineering field.
- Mostadam Accredited Professional (Mostadam AP)
- Proven experience in sustainability practices in the construction industry.
- Minimum of 4–5 years of experience working with Mostadam
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and adapting to new sustainability methodologies.
