System and Integration Manager

Job description / Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Having functional oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems that meet client’s delivery requirements.
• Developing and implementing improvements to processes/systems and therefore the ability of the program to deliver.
• Implementing a system thinking approach across the project to form a fundamental aspect of the teams objective.
• Being responsible for developing and deploying object management, stage build, digital and other best practice work processes.
• Managing the eliciting, analysing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing of the user requirements.
• Having functional leadership of the system-level requirements analysis while liaising with the engineering team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are integrated effectively.
• Verifying the stakeholders' needs and expectations on technical projects.
• Managing and maintaining system documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
• Undertaking work both within a technical and management setting.
• Providing a range of consulting services and being a trusted contributor to project requirements, leveraging knowledge from a RAM Engineering perspective.

Requirements

About you

You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Related MSc degree is desirable, experience in Systems Engineering activities in a complex, safety focused, mega-program organization with multiple complex interfaces. Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles. Experience with system administration and troubleshooting.

Proven track record of developing and implementing systems engineering and integration strategies successfully. Proven ability to manage a large group of senior technical personnel and the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and improvement of processes and mentoring, you can network across departments and key internal and external stakeholders.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
