System Architect – Healthcare (HIS)

Job description / Role

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-Site)

We are hiring a System Architect to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative at a leading private hospital in Riyadh. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and high-performing system architectures for integrated Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and enterprise healthcare platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable architectures for healthcare platforms and HIS integrations
• Define system integration strategies ensuring seamless and secure data exchange
• Evaluate system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards
• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization
• Maintain architecture documentation, including system diagrams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in system architecture or enterprise systems
• Strong expertise in system integration and enterprise architecture
• Experience in healthcare IT environments (HIS, EMR/EHR)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and integration frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Fluency in English and Arabic

Preferred:

• Experience in hospital environments and healthcare implementations
