Job Description

Preparing and submitting the VAT declaration on a monthly or quarterly according to the regularly scheduled dates.

Timely filling of WHT returns

Working on implementing the requirements of E-invoicing (Phase II).

Assisting on preparing the annual tax/zakat returns and discussing it with the legal auditor.

Timely filling of WHT returns

Submit GAZT reports according to regulations and alignment the external advisors

Review GAZT response to queries for assessment and inspection requirements

Analyze GAZT assessment and completion of appeals documentation in coordination with zakat/tax advisors.

Assisting on filing objections to GSTC level.

Follow up the value-added tax account statement and audit it periodically, during the declaration period, in accordance with the concerned accountant.

Communication with the company's account manager within the Authority ZATCA to find out the latest updates on the cases of declarations.

Maintain a record of double taxation treaty agreements and ensure recovery of Tax from DZIT/Suppliers

Advise management on inquiries related to Zakat and Tax

Review, manage and submit all regulatory requirements within time-frame

Preparing all requirements for declarations required by zakat as supporting documents such as invoices or any reports, transactions or other documents.

Providing advice to the management regarding tax issues and identifying the risks of failure or delay in collecting dues from the Authority

Responding to all inquiries from the Authority regarding the open requests of declarations and refund requests.

Manage and follow up the cases of tax issues that concern the company.

Collect and archive documents related to tax/zakat returns, VAT and WHT returns, and other transactions for reference at any time, with full details and sequences.

Requirements

Qualification

Minimum Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounts.

8 years of experience in Tax, WHT and VAT.
