They are currently looking for a Senior Tax Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee tax compliance for zakat, VAT and withholding tax including the preparation, filing and payment of returns insuring timely and accurate compliance;
• Ability to oversee/manage the work of experienced tax professionals, potentially including third party providers;
• Develop a plan and process for compliance reporting, policy, planning and identifying potential exposure for VAT, WHT and ZAKAT;
• Up to date and working knowledge of KSA’s Double Taxation Treaties and effective use in the coordination and planning aspects related to thereto;
• Advise compliance risks, recommendations to reduce risks;
• Manage and develop procedure for zakat and tax planning;
• Familiarity with specific business processes and systems such as Oracle/SAP;
• Ability to conduct detailed tax research on all matters including transactions, creation of subsidiaries and Joint Ventures in Saudi Arabia, Middle East and International to provide excellent, consistent guidance to served business units;
• Liaise with governmental departments and legal regarding all tax and compliance matters
• Perform and review ad hoc analysis as required.

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements:

• Extensive experience in tax reporting matters and control requirements and the implementation and management of these in large complex organizations.
• Experience in leading a team with regular deadlines and KPI reporting;
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration;
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in a corporate organization, Big4 tax and compliance experience - mandatory.
• Must be specialized in Tax Management
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written), negotiate and liase at all levels of the organization.
• Team player and ability to oversee team players;
• Excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to complete the required tasks;
• Ability to work in stressful, last minute and deadline driven oriented tasks.
