Technical / Design Associate Director (Remote location Al Ula)
Role Summary
Faithful+Gould are currently looking for Technical / Design Associate Director with demonstrated experience in the design management and delivery of large-scale five-star hospitality / conference centre style projects. The position is to oversee the design interface, management and coordination for a high-profile construction project based in AlUla, KSA.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Leadership, Direction and Support to Faithful+Gould's Project Management Consultancy team
- Manage and report on the design delivery performance for the time, cost, quality and other performance objectives as required from the supply chain, including the application of robust change management
- Oversee and manage the technical interface with all functions to ensure project and statutory requirements are understood, implemented, and discharged appropriately in the design and construction phases
- Engage with other functions including commercial, procurement, project controls, construction delivery, HSEQ etc. to ensure that technical issues are suitably understood and appropriately managed
- Liaise and collaborate with clients and all other project stakeholders to ensure all requirements are captured and executed through design to commissioning
- Coordinate deliverables, inputs and interfaces with the technical supervision team to ensure a verified, validated and configured design that meets the client requirements
- Ensure Faithful+Gould's core Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Integrity principles are embedded into 'safety in design' and delivery projects
- Adopt a project culture of innovation and 'lessons learned' to drive continual improvement
Requirements
Requirements, Experience & Skills
- 10 years' experience in relevant sector experience across five-star Hospitality / Conference Centre
- Bachelor's degree ideally in Engineering, Architecture, or other related Built Environment fields
- Ideally holds Professional Chartered Membership with a recognise institution such as RICS/CIOB/ICE/RIBA etc.
- Proven track record in design delivery of major projects and package coordination post-contract as a PMC is essential
- Middle East experience preferred
