Title: <br>Technical Director Iconic Buildings<br><br>Technical Director Iconic Buildings <br><br>LOCATION <br><br>Riyadh, Saudi Arabia <br><br>PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br><br>The project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages. <br><br>THE ROLE <br><br>Reporting directly t o the Program Manager , the Technical Director Iconic is responsible for leading the full development of a ll Iconic Buildings for a major metropolitan region. The focus will be on a full lifecycle development related issues and innovative solutions challenges, implementation of policies, and management of a wide range of stakeholders. <br><br>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES <br> - <br> Manage, develop, and coordinate the PMC scope of the Technical and Design Management Development of Iconic Buildings ensuring that the plans meet design and functional objectives including budgetary, environmental, and legal requirements. <br> - <br> Driving Technical and delivery performance so that all milestones are met or exceeded without compromising cost targets, safety, security or quality. <br> - <br> Directly managing consultants and contractors engaged in the design and build process; <br> - <br> Planning and coordinating the operations required for consultants, and contractors to function in a safe, secure, productive and collaborative environment. <br> - <br> Validate project plans, budgets, performance status, forecast, trends, risks, and key decisions; <br> - <br> Provide management and oversight of the project by ensuring that all objectives are being achieved including those related to cost, schedule, safety, quality, technology, security, logistics, and sustainability. <br><br>EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE <br> - <br> BSc, engineering, architecture or equivalent. <br> - <br> Minimum of 20 years overall experience <br> - <br> Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role <br> - <br> Minimum of 5 years working in Middle East <br> - <br> Experience managing the facilities design, or the planning and coordination of capital projects that included the overall design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling activities <br> - <br> Knowledge of operational aspects of civil & infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities with experience in construction management and practice <br> - <br> Excellent r eport writing and communication skills <br> - <br> A high standard of spoken and written English should be a requirement <br> - <br> User of MS Office <br><br>COMPETENCIES <br> - <br> Energetic <br> - <br> Motivated <br> - <br> Dynamic <br> - <br> I nterpersonal and communication skills <br> - <br> Accepts responsibility <br> - <br> Planning & organising <br><br>
